On Wednesday, a police officer was shot and hurt in Mango Hall, Little London, Westmoreland.
He is receiving treatment at the hospital right now.
He is reportedly assigned to the Norwood, St. James, Zone of Special Operations.
The constable was at home when individuals on motorcycles approached and started shooting at him, according to Senior Superintendent Wayne Josephs, commanding officer of the Westmoreland Police Division.
