Mino Raiola has given the clearest indication that Paul Pogba’s future lies away from Manchester United.
The 27-year-old French World Cup winner is under contract until June 2022 and according to his agent, Pogba is “unhappy” and has to change teams.
He has made only eight Premier League appearances this season, starting five and scoring only once in a 3-1 win victory over West Ham on Saturday.
“Paul is unhappy. He is no longer able to express himself as he would like and as expected of him,” Raiola said.
In an interview with Tuttosport, he said it is best for both party that a solution is found.
“He has a contract that will expire in a year and a half, but I think the best solution for the parties is to sell him in the next market.”
“It is useless to go around it,” he said. “Better to speak clearly, look ahead and not waste time.”
Pogba, re-joined Man Ut in a then world record £89m in 2016 and has helped the club to win the Europa League and the League Cup.
